Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO met the leaders of the Donetsk region religion organizations
The Donetsk RSA chairman Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO met the leaders of the Donetsk region religion organizations. The leader of the region executive power expressed his deep respect and sincere gratitude for actions, directed upon the support of interconfessional peace and harmony in the Donetsk region, for understanding and help concerning the honoring of famishment victims in 1932-1933. He enounced his confidence in that joint efforts will help the power and representatives of religion organizations to maintain high level of cooperation, mutual help and understanding.

The presentation of the opened region festival “The song that saved me”, devoted to the Saint Nicholas Day
The RSA chairman, VOLODYMYR LOGVYNENKO, took part in the presentation of the opened region festival “The song that saved me”, devoted to the Saint Nicholas Day.
62 families of many children, in which are 8 and more children, from 18 towns and districts of the region were invited to celebration.
Addressing to children the region leader congratulated them with Saint Nicholas Day and wished that “all that good they planed – certainly will come true; and that this day, this life and surrounding people gave them warm and tenderness, and all their dreams turned into reality”.

Priority directions of economical and social development were studded in the Donetsk region
 Today, the Donetsk RSA chairman, VOLODYMYR LOGVYNENKO, implemented the conference concerning the priority directions of the region economical and social development. The oblast council chairman, ANATOLIY BLYZNJUK, chairmen assistants and heads of the structural RSA and oblast council subdepartments, and also town chairmen, district state administration and district council chairmen took part in the conference.
In opening address, the oblast leader said that “it is the end of the first year of the Strategy concerning the economical and social development of the Donetsk region for the period till 2015.

АLMA MATER is 70!
The RSA chairman, VOLODYMYR LOGVYNENKO, and the oblast council chairman, ANATOLIY BLYZNYUK, took part in the celebrations concerning the 70th anniversary from the creation day of the Donetsk National University.
Congratulating teachers, students and guests of the Donetsk National University with the jubilee VOLODYMYR LOGVYNENKO mentioned that the University had overcome all troubles to its statement and development. And today its honorable place is in the region historical and vital process. It is hard to overestimate its contribution into the development of native education.

Yuriy Khivrych conducted the telephone conference with enterprises of house-communal economy
The assistant of the Donetsk RSA chairman Yuriy Khivrych conducted the telephone conference with enterprises of house-communal economy about going through the heating season 2007-2008 years.
Yuriy KHIVRYCH informed that from the 6th till the 12th of December during 200 hours 12 stopping of boiler houses were made. The main reason for that was the absence of electricity, water, and also disrepair of thermo roads as the result of unfavorable weather conditions. The courses of the stoppings were eliminated, but at the nearest time we should be ready to the repetition of such a situation because of the sudden fall of temperature, about which meteorologists notify.

Pavlo Mishchenko and Hanna Fedorova from Donetsk will take part in the action “On Saint Nicolas Day – to the President of Ukraine”
On the 14th of December 2007 there will be the action “On Saint Nicolas Day – to the President of Ukraine” in Kyiv. VIKTOR YUSHCHENKO will meet 220 children. They are the winners of the international, All-Ukrainian competitions and festivals. But there also will be 35 children with the President, who will accompany him. Between them are Donetsk residents that are PAVLO MISHCHENKO – the winner of the international mathematics Olympiad in Vietnam and silver prize winner of Europe between cadets – HANNA FEDOROVA.

About the dynamics of middle levels of purchasing, wholesale-selling and retail prices on grain, meal and bread on the 30th of November 2007
Operative monitoring prices data, that are made by the state body of the control for the prices on the basic meal grinded, bread enterprises and region trade enterprises for execution of protocol requirements given from the conference of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers № 11 on the 1st of March 2006 and № 31 on the 1st of August 2006, and also the order of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers from 02.08.06 №20749/5/1-06 in comparison with the 20th of November 2007 on the 30th of November the next changes of the middle levels of prices.

Alpinists of the Donetsk region plan to conquer the Mount Everest
 The head of RSA coal industry government ANATOLIY VELYCHKO conducted the conference of the organizational committee devoted to preparation and realization of the First Donetsk Himalayas’ expedition, which in Spring 2008 plans the ascent of the Mount Everest (8848 meters).
1982 fellow countryman Mykhaylo Turkevych amalgamating with Soviet Himalayas expedition at the first time made an ascent of the Mount Everest. During 25 years nobody out of Donetsk residents was able to repeat such a sport achievement.

The President of Ukraine VIKTOR YUSHCHENKO awarded the workers of “Merit ensemble of song and dance of Ukraine “Donbas”
The President of Ukraine VIKTOR YUSHCHENKO signed the decree “About the rewarding the workers of the theatrical-performance enterprise “Merit ensemble of song and dance of Ukraine “Donbas” in Donetsk”.
According to the signed document, the main ballet master Oleksandr PROKOPENKO and orchestra soloist Serhiy USTIMENKO were awarded by honorary status “Merit artist of Ukraine” for their considerable contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture and art, significant creative achievements and for high professionalism. And the director Valentin KICHIK received the status “Merit culture worker of Ukraine”.

The 18th of November 2007, at 03.11 in the morning an accident – the explosion of methane-air mixture happened on the 13th section of the eastern layer L1 drift of the 1078 meters horizon. At the explosion moment there were 457 workers in the mine, including the disabled sections – 215.
