As we have already informed, there will be the only one informational day on the topic “The Day of Conciliarism of Ukraine: historical lessons and current realia” before the Day of Conciliarism of Ukraine in the towns and districts of the Donetsk region, on the enterprises and other establishments of the region.

Soon all country will celebrate the holiday of national unity, ethnic-racial self-conscious and national solidarity - the Day of Conciliarism of Ukraine.
On the 22nd of January 2008 there will be a number of actions with participation of the President of Ukraine Viktor YUSHCHENKO and other state leaders.

Donetsk railway successfully ended the 2007 year as for the repair of tracks and rolling stock

As the Mass-Media of the Donetsk railway Governance informed during the last year 223.2 km of tracks were updated that is twice more than in the 2006. The main updating works were made in Chaplyne –Yasynuvata, Losova – Martseve, Mykytivka – krasna Mohyla. Besides, the total repair of 76.3 km of tracks is made; 521switchings are changed into new ones.

On the 11th of January 2008 VOLODYMYR LOGVYNENKO will participate in the conference in the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine

Today the RSA chairman VOLODYMYR LOGVYNENKO will take part in the conference devoted to socially-economical and social-political situation in the region in 2007 and tasks for 2008, in particular, the implementation of the President of Ukraine initiative to give help to families having many children “Warm the child with love”

 The conference will take place in the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.

The first assistant of the house-communal economy Minister, OREST LOTOTS’KYJ conducted the Republican teleconference by the video connection about the heating season 2007-2008 years, house-communal services’ debts and accounts for the used energy. YURIJ KHIVRYCH, the Donetsk RSA chairman assistant and leaders of the Donetsk region communal enterprises were present in the studio in Donetsk city.

11Today there was the press-conference in the Donetsk regional branch of the open joint stock company “Savings bank”. The director of the Donetsk regional branch of the open joint stock company “Savings bank” Viktor Nikolaev, the assistant of the governance director, the head of the operational department Tatiana Tolkunova, the assistant of the governance director of  the retail business Viktoria Ryzhkova and the head of deposit and compensation payments department Lyudmyla Osipovna took part in the conference.

Information about the heating season in the Donetsk region

As the main Donetsk RSA Governance of city planning, architecture and house-communal economy inform the heating season is stable in the region. On the 11th of January 2008 all boiler houses (2050) worked in the region. 21150 (100%) dwelling houses, 995 (100%) kindergartens, 1088 (100%) schools and 239 (100%) hospitals receive the warm.

Actions devoted to the celebration of Vasyl Stus’ 70th anniversary from the Birthday

There planned a number of informational and social actions devoted to the celebration of the prominent Ukrainian poet and dissident Vasyl Stus’ 70th anniversary from the Birthday in the Donetsk region. Thus, on the 8th of January there was a solemn laying of flowers to the poet’s memorial with participation of student youth, the public and workers of the Donetsk national university, in which the artist studied in due time, and after that was the theatric performance in the philological department in Donetsk.

The 22nd of January is the Day of Conciliarism of Ukraine

The 22nd of January 1919 was the day of a great national holiday – the Day of Conciliarism of Ukraine. That day the unity of the Ukrainian National Republic and Western Ukrainian National Republic was proclaimed on the square before the Kyiv Sophia.
The Day of Conciliarism is celebrated in Ukraine according to the President decree dating the 25th of January 1999. This state holiday symbolizes the unity of the Ukrainian lands.

Donetsk region still celebrates the New-year and Christmas holidays for children of the privileged categories

The Donetsk region still celebrates the New-year and Christmas holidays for children of the privileged categories. Today, the boarding school pupils of the region house-communal property arrived to the Donetsk Solov’yanenko academic state theatre of opera and ballet to see the Christmas performance “Tsarina-frog”.

Mayor of Poland Nyzhnjosylez’kyj province ANDZHEYEJ LOS’ arrived to Donetsk region

Today the RSA chairman VOLODYMYR LOGVYNENKO met with the Mayor of Poland Nyzhnjosylez’kyj province ANDZHEYEJ LOS’.
 The most important discussion, sides were talking about during the meeting, was Football Championship Euro-2012 and collaboration of countries during matches, because competitions of such level will be in Ukraine, and in Poland for the first time. As well as our country, Poland will develop an infrastructure, namely will build stadiums and will repair roads and air-ports to Euro-2012, and others like that. And as Andzheyej Los’ pointed out, “it is yet unknown, with which team will play each, that is why it is necessary to plan work of flying transport”.

Regional holiday “Donetsk region celebrates Christmas”

Today, vice-chairman of the Donetsk regional state administration OLENA PETRYAJEVA  took part in a regional holiday “Donetsk region celebrates Christmas” that took place in the Donetsk Solov’yanenko academic theater of opera and ballet.

The chairman of the Donetsk Oblast Rada ANATOLIY BLYZNYUK, Donetsk city chairman OLEKSANDR LUK’YANCHENKO and clergy representatives also took part in the action.

Balances of the Donetsk railway work in 2007. Load transportations

As Governance of the Donetsk railway Mass-Media informs there is the increase of load transportations’ amount in 2007. Thus, Donetsk railway loaded 167.56 million tons that is 100.3% from the plan and 40.3% from the general loads of the Ukrainian railway in 2007. Herewith, the average daily loading is 459 thousands of tons that are 2.8% higher than results in 2006.

Today the regional state administration collegium considered the regional budget project for 2008 during the conference

RSA chairman VOLODYMYR LOGVYNENKO conducted the conference of the RSA collegium today. The main question was the regional budget project for 2008. 

The RSA collegium conference outlighted that forming of the region budget  was carried out according to the regulations of Constitution of Ukraine, Budgetary code of Ukraine, Declaration of budgetary policy aims and tasks for 2008, ratified by the decision of Ministers Cabinet of Ukraine, individual regulations of the Conception of local budgets’ reformation, approved by the order of Ministers Cabinet of Ukraine, and also other normatively-legal acts.

Opening of call-center at Ministry of foreign affairs of Ukraine

Ministry of foreign affairs of Ukraine created a call-center, which will give information and advices for questions related to the journeys of the Ukrainians abroad.
Call-center is created to fulfill the governmental program „Towards the people” in order to defend the rights and interests of the Ukrainians. Call-center will help Ministry of foreign affairs and diplomatic establishments of Ukraine to react operative upon unforeseeable situations, which can happen with the Ukrainian citizens in other states.

VOLODYMYR LOGVYNENKO takes part in the conference under chairmanship of Prime Minister of Ukraine

Today the RSA chairman VOLODYMYR LOGVYNENKO takes part in the conference led by Prime Minister of Ukraine  JULIA TYMOSHENKO about the liquidation of accident consequences on ”Zasjad’ko mine”, increase of the work protection and safety level on coal extracting enterprises, and also about  increase of miners’ work prestige.

Also, there were Minister of coal industry of Ukraine Victor Poltavets’, executing Deputy Minister of work and social policy of Ukraine Victor Ivankevych, director of ”Zasjad’ko mine” Ihor Yefremov.

New-year and Christmas holidays for kids of the Donetsk region

Today, the Christmas holiday took place for children-invalids, pupils of boarding schools from towns and districts of the region in the Donetsk regional Palace of children and youth creative work. At the beginning, 230 children met with Father Christmas and his Granddaughter near a forest beauty – Christmas tree, where they led round dances, sang songs, read the poems and took part in various competitions. And then kids  met with favorite fairy-tale heroes during the performance “New-year fairy-tale”. All the children received gifts from the region state administration. The organizer of the holiday is the RSA governance of education and science.
