Grain growers of Donechchyna have finished gathering early grain crops
 Gathering early grain crops is completed in Donechchyna. Grain growers of the region have collected 2 million 31 thousand tons of grain, having made the powerful contribution to a rich loaf of Ukraine. On this occasion RSA chairman, Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO and chairman of regional council, Anatoly BLYZNYUK, have sent a greeting to agricultural producers of the region.

Coal emission on SOE “Coal Company “Krasnolymanska”
 On the 23rd of May, at 3:31 a.m., there happened coal emission in a ventilation passage of the second western lava of L3 area (dead end hollow with a length of 350 meters) on SOE “Coal Company “Krasnolymanska”. According to previous data, 14 miners were captured.

At 8.00 o’clock in the morning there are found fragments of bodies of 12 miners in mine (10 are adjudged to be dead, 2 - no). Fragments of dead bodies are sent to examination.
This decision was accepted on the technical and economic council, devoted to questions of the organization and carrying out of carriages repair (major overhaul of carriages of not compartment type with prolongation of service) in conditions of carriage depot Donetsk. The chief of the Donetsk railway, Mykolay Serhiyenko, services and the enterprises heads have taken part in the action.
The Prime-Minister of Ukraine, Yuliya Tymoshenko, congratulated grain growers of Donetsk region with grain output of 2 million tones.
At 17:00 p.m., 17.06.2008, in hospitals there are 29 injured miners, 12 miners are in mine, their destinies are unknown, and 1 miner is buried.
On June 17, 2008 the 17-th championship of Ukraine in fire-applied sports has begun on stadium "Olympic" in Donetsk. The best sportsmen-firemen (31 commands) from all Ukraine have arrived to the capital of Donbass to show their skills and mastery.
As we have already informed, on May 27, 2008 climbers of Donetsk region have conquered the highest point of a planet - the Everest top (8848 m.).
On June 8, 2008, at 5:00 a.m. there happened an explosion on the mine named after Charles Marx. The place of explosion epicenter and causes are unknown. As a result of explosion there was torn off cage in an elevating mine shaft, the lifting building and pit head of air mine shaft № 2 are destroyed.
