About the dynamics of middle levels of purchasing, wholesale-selling and retail prices on grain, meal and bread on the 30th of November 2007

Operative monitoring prices data, that are made by the state body of the control for the prices on the basic meal grinded, bread enterprises and region trade enterprises for execution of protocol requirements given from the conference of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers № 11 on the 1st of March 2006 and № 31 on the 1st of August 2006, and also the order of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers from 02.08.06 №20749/5/1-06 in comparison with the 20th of November 2007 on the 30th of November the next changes of the middle levels of prices. They are the following:
purchasing prices for the grain on the basic meal grinded enterprises
(delivery proviso – hh – transportation is paid)

increased to:

- wheat of the 4th class to 0.6%
(from 1242,23 to 1250,11 hrn. per 1 tone with VAT);
- rye, group «А» – 0,1 %. (from 1122,82 to 1123,85 hrn. per 1 tone with VAT);
lowered to:
- wheat of the 3d class to 0,2 % (from 1307,67 to 1304,48 hrn. per 1 tone with VAT);
- wheat of the 5th class – 0,1 % (from 1079,57 to 1078,03 hrn. per 1 t with VAT);

wholesale-selling prices for meal:

increased to:
- flour of the higher sort to 1,2 % (from 1,66 to 1,68 hrn. per 1 kg);
- flour of the II sort  – 0,8 % (from 1,29 to 1,3 hrn. per 1 kg);
- rye peeled flour – 0,7 % (from 1,47 to 1,48 hrn. per 1 kg);
haven’t changed to:
- flour of the I sort  1,51 hrn. per 1 kg;

wholesale-selling prices for bread:

increased to:
- bread of flour of the higher quality (long loaf also) to 1,1 % (from 2,66 to 2,69 hrn. per 1 kg);
have not changed to:
- bread from flour of the I quality and rye–wheat bread are 2,14 і 2,02 hrn. per 1 kg respectively;

retailed prices for bread:

increased to:
- bread from flour of the I quality to 0,4 % (from 2,34 to 2,35 hrn. per       1 kg);
- rye-wheat bread – 0,5 % (from 2,22 to 2,23 hrn. per 1 kg);
- bread of flour of the higher quality (long loaf also)  – 0,7 %         (from 2,99 to 3,01 hrn. per 1 kg).

State control body of prices continuous to do the monitoring of prices for the grain, meal, bread on the region markets of the country.

Price policy

State inspectorate of prices’ controlling in Donetsk region informs that results of the monitoring done on the 30th of November 2007 in retail trade network and on the nourishment markets price situation was marked by stability – fluctuations of middle prices did not exceed 1-percentage barrier. Only the middle price for butter was increased to 7.0 % from 15.10 hrn. to 16.16 hrn/kg.

 

At the same time, results of one-time monitoring showed the existence of speculative manifestations when forming realization prices in trade network. During the current 10 days period the prices of enterprise objects in Donetsk, Mriupol’, Krasnoarmiys’k and Novoazovs’k, which make wholesale and retail realization of the nourishment production, the prices of which are monitored.   
 

Thus, for example, as monitoring results show, in Artemivs’k retail trade enterprises not all enterprise objects stick to the recommended 10.0% level of trade increase. By forming realization prices for bread from flour of the I quality trade increases are to 15.0%.

 

Similar is the situation with the usage of trade increases in Novoazovs’k town.
