Viktor Yanukovych visited the tenant enterprise “Zasjad’ko Mine”
Acting Prime-Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych visited the tenant enterprise “Zasjad’ko Mine”, where he took part in the government commission meeting.
Later on, consorting with Mass Media Viktor Yanukovych informed that “ works are stopped in the mine, only three miners work on the spillway. At the nearest time acting government chairman is planning to carry on negotiations with the Prime-Minister of Russian Federation Viktor Zubkov. He also is going to attract the specialists from Poland, Germany and USA as the country representatives with the most powerful coal industry for the joint enquiry of crash causes and results.
On the question about the possibility of stopping the enterprise’s work Viktor Yanukovych reacted with restraint and added that conclusions will be made on the basis of expert council decisions. At present it is early to make some conclusions concerning the further work of the mine, as the access to the crash place is impossible, though all workers wee successfully lifted up.
Also, the acting Ukrainian governmental chairman views that there must be a deferential approach to the analyses of every deepened mine’s activity. As far as Zasjad’ko mine is concerned there are no talks about its closing. Nowadays the enterprise gives the state three millions of coal per year when the country feels the lack of coke coal – 6 millions of tones per year. At the same time Viktor Yanukovych assumes the possibility of such a situation as the miners’ safety must be in the first place.
