Today, sudden coal eject happened at “Zasyad’ko mine”

Sudden coal eject (eject length 13.4 m.) happened at “Zasyad’ko mine” in the 18th western conveyer drift at 00.21 o’clock (February 12, 2009).

There were 10 miners at the mine, 9 – were brought up the surface and sent to hospital. One miner-machinist, born in 1960, was found dead at 6.45 a.m.

 

Rescuers and workers of the mine are liquidating consequences of the accident.
