World financial consequences and an economic crisis were sharply designated on economy of Donetsk region
Today RSA chairman Volodymyr Logvynenko has met leaders of political parties, the public and trade-union organizations of Donetsk region. The basic question of the agenda - about the crisis phenomena in public and social and economic life of Ukraine and action on its stabilization.
World financial consequences and an economic crisis were especially designated on industrially developed, export-oriented regions of Ukraine and, first of all, on economy of Donetsk region which provides 20% of nation-wide volume of realized production and 22 % of export production of Ukraine.
The metallurgical branch became especially vulnerable in real economy sector because of unfavourable conjuncture of the world market. Since August, this year the metallurgical enterprises of the region feel the decrease of production volumes. In October, in comparison with September, the volume of manufacture in the region was reduced to 16.7 %, in November - to 35.7 %. Annual results can show reduction of manufacture to 14.8 %. Because of absence of orders for the end of November 11 out of 21 blast furnaces work, 4 out of 22 martin furnaces, 7 out of 8 converters work at the region metallurgical enterprises. Volodymyr Logvynenko names one of variants of the way out of this situation support of those structures that have direct relation in support of the metallurgical complex. “It is necessary to support machine building industry, an agrarian complex, an inhabited complex ", - has offered RSA chairman.
One more problem presently for the region is a labour payment. The total sum of debts on wages payment in comparison with the sum at the beginning of year has increased to 120.2 million hryvnias, and on November 1 has made 289.3 million hryvnias. Decrease in payment level and growth of debts on wages was negatively reflected in receipts of means to local budgets and funds of social insurance.
The analysis of parameters of economic and social development indices of the region in 2008 testifies the necessity of urgent actions at the local, regional and state levels directed on lightening of social and economic consequences of the crisis phenomena in real sector of economy.
While discussion of the situation which has developed in the region and search of ways out of the crisis, the present offered help of the political parties and public organizations. Namely, every Friday to give the information and offers to internal policy department of the district state administration concerning way out of the crisis and not to let social anxiety in a society.
