Presentation of marketing concept “Euro-2009”

Today, RSA chairman Volodymyr Logvynenko took part in Program of the 8th Football Championship of Europe among youth of the age till 19. Presentation also involved leaders of the regional Organizing committee in preparation and carrying out of the Euro-2009/2012 (regional council chairman Anatolij Blyznjuk, mayor Oleksandr Luk’yanchenko and others), representatives of the Football Federation of Ukraine, Director General of CJSC “Ukraine Football International” Oleh Shkreba.

Presentation was held aiming to unite efforts of authority, business and sporting public for carrying out of Football Championship of Europe among youth of the age till 19 in 2009 at a high organizational level. Addressing all the present Volodymyr Logvynenko stressed out that they acquired an experience due to the International football youth tournament in memory of V. Bannikov similar to Euro-2009 that was held this year. We saw our strong and weak points and we can surely affirm that organizationally we are ready to carry out Euro-2009.

 

RSA chairman attracted attention to the fact that the region had already witnessed two inspections of UEFA (in June and October of 2008), which checked preparation of infrastructure of the hosting cities to Euro-2009: “Experts’ conclusions were positive at whole, although there are some working problems and remarks, which had been already taken into consideration and would be eliminated. The main component of the project’s successful realization is a good marketing company. EURO-2009 is not exception”.

During the Program presentation of the 8th Football Championship of Europe among youth of the age till 19 there was outlighted the image concept of the given project, some organizational questions and program of Pr-actions that would be before the tournament and would accompany it. Materials that were presented were agreed by UEFA and are the direction for further actions.
