Youth of our region celebrated the Day of students

RSA deputy chairman Olena Petryajeva participated in celebrations of the Worldwide Day of students in “Illichivets” sporting complex in Mariupol city, where the youth festival “A great period of students” took place with participation of 18 teams of the Donetsk region higher establishments.

 

Sporting arena was filled up with holiday spirit. Extra-ordinary sport competitions such as “Fulfilled fixed-route taxi” or “Ode to sport” and performances of Donechchyna creative collectives made the atmosphere of the bright holiday, during which a real sound orchestra by participants of the festival took place.

Jury decided that the third place is shared among Donetsk national university of economics and trade named after M.Tuhan-Baranovskiy and Donetsk state university of management, the second place – to Preazovskiy state technical university, and the first – Donetsk national university. Winners received diplomas and gifts. Congratulating students with holiday Olena Petryajeva pointed out that “Today, there were neither winners, nor defeated. This arena witnessed joy and healthy spirit of competitiveness”.
