Volodymyr Logvynenko expressed his opinion upon the political situation
Regional state administration chairman Volodymyr Logvynenko expressed his estimations about the political situation in Ukraine.
Recent political events can not leave every Ukrainian indifferent. Parliament does not fulfill its lawmaking mission that, first of all, must defend interests of the Ukrainian citizens. Previous year such a work of Supreme Rada forced the President to initiate pre-term parliament elections. This year situation is not only repeated, but also is sharpened.
Today political leaders should carry out top priority tasks, but not populism. They should maintain political stability in regions and in the country as well.
Guarantor of the Constitution has already addressed to chairmen and deputies of regional, city and district councils. He appealed not to permit the breakdown of democratic majorities, created mostly not taking into consideration events in Supreme Rada.
The President of Ukraine remains adherent of the democratic coalition, supporting principles of both political powers. And as the leader of the country, he supports democracy and national interests of the state, and every citizen and can not protect interests of only some politicians.
In my opinion, the most optimal way out of the crisis is to create acting majority in any form. But it should be honestly and frankly informed, without deceit of voters.
And now the basic task before politicians, governors, representatives of all authorities is to provide corresponding conditions for preparation to autumn-winter period, to remain harvest and to take care about the harvest of 2009, provide deserving life for every Ukrainian and many other tasks that need urgent solving. This is what we take care of.
