V. Logvynenko took part in meeting of R. Akhmetov with the staff of the Donetsk antitumour centre

Donetsk regional state administration chairman, Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO, took part in meeting of the President of charity fund “Development of Ukraine”, Rynat Akhmetov, with the staff of the Donetsk regional antitumour centre

The meeting also gathered the following people: Donetsk RSA deputy chairman, Olena PETRYAJEVA, national deputy of Ukraine Borys KOLYESNIKOV, and representatives of Mass Media.

Journalists took part in center observation excursion, during which it was possible to get acquainted with conditions and problems of the establishment, get to know about its major needs.

During press-conference Rynat AKHMETOV called the situation with oncologic diseases terrible in Ukraine and reminded about earlier given 200 million hryvnias for prevention of disease and its treatment, 100 millions out of which are appointed for Donechchyna, in particular, 50 millions for the Donetsk regional antitumour centre.

Besides, the President of CF “Development of Ukraine” informed that the fund considered centre needs and he personally decided to give more 115 million hryvnias to solve those problems. Money will be used for center building repair and repair of its adjacent territory, purchase of high quality equipment and providing of European service level by medical specialists.

Also Rynat AKHMETOV promised to give money to help 5 city and 4 district dispensaries.

The leader of the center, professor Hryhoriy BONDAR told the present about details of the specialists’ work and the main dynamics of oncologic diseases treatment, thanking all representatives of the fund for their attention to the problem.

Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO expressed his deep thankfulness to Rynat AKHMETOV and gave him Gratitude of the Donetsk regional state administration and Donetsk regional council for the attention and significant help in solving problem of the region. According to his words, due to support of the fund there is a great attention to the main three All-Ukrainian programs that are devoted to fight against tuberculosis, oncologic diseases treatment and solving the problems of children-orphans.
