About Donetsk region education system

The education system of Donetsk region in May, 2008 worked in a scheduled mode. Last calls on May, 30-31s have rang. 33 thousand 595 pupils have left school and have received full general education. Out of them 1275 - apply for gold medals, 468 - silver.

 

Besides, 45697 children finished the 9th class this year. It is planned that 15 thousands will enter TECHNICAL TRAINING COLLEGE and technical schools, the others will continue studying in 10th class.

 

Today, it is already lead external independent estimation of 9 subjects knowledge. It has passed in an organized way within valid regulations. District received and gave out to pupils the certificates in 3 disciplines: the Ukrainian language and the literature, mathematics, history of Ukraine. There were no appeals to the regional center of independent testing. According to cities and districts information, current knowledge quality of pupils is confirmed by testing.

Out of 19 pupils in Ukraine who have received the greatest quantity of points - 400, are Yaroslav Zajtsev from a teaching and educational complex of Krasnoarmeysk city. Grunska Kateryna from regional lyceum at Donetsk National University has received 399 points. Pupils of lyceum "Erudite", and also graduates of Donetsk, Mariupol, Konstantinovsky and Novoazovsky districts have shown good results, etc. the nearest three days external independent testing will be completely finished in all subjects.

Results of the region pupils’ participation in All-Ukrainian subject Olympiads are summed up. Traditionally, Donetsk region is the first of regions in total test.

 

Preparation of an education system for work in new educational year has begun. More than 800 school camps for pupils of elementary forms are opened, a fortnight practice for pupils of high school have begun, and also final examinations for pupils of the 9 – 11th classes.

Since June 20, 2008 carrying out of finishing evenings is planned.
