Opening of Check Republic Business-Mission in Donetsk region

Today, opening of Check Republic Business-Mission was held in the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was headed by Check Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Ukraine Yaroslav Bashta.
    

This is the first so multiple economical mission of business circles in the history of relationships between the Donetsk region and Check Republic. For individual contract negotiations with Donetsk region entrepreneurs 22 leading Check companies arrived.
During visit, in the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry there was plenary meeting of Check mission business council, in which participated Check Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Ukraine Yaroslav Bashta, President of the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry Gennadiy Chyzhykov, Check Republic consul general in Donetsk Antonin Murhash, regional council deputy chairman Volodymyr Ishkov, leaders and staff of 44 Donetsk region enterprises, firms and companies.
Borys Adamov presented the guests potential of the Donetsk region. During presentation, the region deputy leader informed that “Donetsk region is located in the eastern part of Ukraine. In the region there are 28 cities of the regional importance and 17 districts, where live and work representatives of 130 nationalities of this country. Donetsk region has common border with Russian Federation and outlet to the Mediterranean-Black Basin through the Sea of Azov”.

Presence of fuel and power and mineral-raw resources created conditions for the development of the industrial complex with a high concentration of heavy industries that provides almost 20 % of the national amount of the implemented industrial production. In the region created sufficiently developed production, scientific, cultural, sport and social infrastructure.

 

The region economical potential is presented by 940 large industrial enterprises, 2000 acting agricultural enterprises and farms, 406 specialized building organizations and nearly 26 thousands of small and middle business enterprises.

The main natural wealth of this region was and remains coal, industrial reserves of which are 14 milliards tones. Also Borys Adamov told about metallurgy, transport infrastructure and international cooperation of the region.

Besides, Borys Adamov said that “Donbas is not only industrial region. It always was and remains the centre of intellectual, scientific, cultural and sport life of the country”.

RSA deputy chairman pointed out that “now the region is preparing to Football Championship Euro-2012. Region developed the regional purpose program “Providing of preparing and carrying out Euro-2009 final parts among youth till 19 and Football Championship Euro-2012 in the Donetsk region”.

 

For favorable investment conditions there created “One investing window”, through which investors can actively solve problems, connected with realization of business-projects.
Planned program financing of “EURO-2012” is near 33 milliards of hryvnjas in the Donetsk region.

Borys Adamov paid attention to that “the cooperation development, including foreign economical and investing activity, has great reserves and huge possibilities”.

RSA deputy chairman is confirmed that “Donbas is opened for everybody, who wants to cooperate with us, and today’s meeting is a significant practical step towards the development and strengthening of partnership”.
