Appointment of Anatoly M. Blyznyuk as the chairman of Donetsk region.
On March, 19th the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Nikolay Janovich Azarov presented to the administrative members of Donetsk region the new chairman of Donetsk area Anatoliy Mikhailovich Blyznyuk appointed to this post by the decree (№ 385/2010 from March, 18th, 2010.) of the President of Ukraine, Victory F.Yanukovych. The new chairman was blessed by Donetsk and Mariupol Metropolitan Ilarion and handed him an icon.
Anatoly Bliznjuk thanked the Prime minister of Ukraine, deputies, sacred fathers: «We don’t need unnecessary words, all of us really understand what is happening. I would like to thank Vladimir Ivanovicha Logvinenko for joint fruitful work. We worked as a united command. We’re facing responsible tasks; we need intelligent, adjusted, consolidated actions not only at region level, but also at country level. Otherwise we couldn’t reach any result.
Innovations, investments, energy conservation, economy diversification, reforms – all it should become for us not simply nice words but our ideology which will help us to solve those difficult problems which we face. We continue experiment on local government reforming in Novoazovskiy area. That gives possibility to receive for each ghrivna enclosed by a regional council three ghrivnas of investments from outside bulk. We successfully implemented a number of mini-projects working up according to this ideology. We are ready to start at region level in order to change the pension legislation, administrative reform. We understand that now the country does not have money for implementation these reforms on state scales, therefore it is possible to try on the basis of Donetsk, Lvov regions. For Ukraine it will be big plus, positive experience which can be used within all country. Yesterday the President of Ukraine of V. F. Yanukovych definitely declared that he will renew action of laws about FEZ and TPD, and has given me the task to prepare training for all regions to work according to this ideology ».
Besides, the chairman A.M. Blyznyuk has reminded the Prime minister of Ukraine that the Donetsk regional council has signed the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers and Donetsk region: «We understand that in the conditions of crisis the agreement should be reconsidered and we are from our part ready to sign peaceful settlement favorable for both parts».
In conclusion Anatoliy Mihajlovich has promised to a region bulk that it will work hard to justify President and bulk trust: «All of us, as a single command can confirm in practice the motto of our region –« Possibility is proved by work ».
