Borys ADAMOV took part in the 14th International scientific practical seminar “Development problems of foreign economic relations and attraction of foreign investments: regional aspect”

The Donetsk RSA chairman assistant Borys ADAMOV took part in the 14th International scientific practical seminar “Development problems of foreign economic relations and attraction of foreign investments: regional aspect”. The Donetsk part of it took place in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry today.

 

During his speech, Borys ADAMOV congratulated the participants and organizers of the seminar with its opening, accenting on the importance of this event for the region.

As he said, the Donetsk region dynamically develops and plays a great role in the economy of this country. For its part, effective economic development of the Donetsk lands became one of the reasons for intensification of its foreign relations.
 
As the RSA chairman assistant said, the caring out of the seminar at such a level can assist the determination of the main economic region problems such as considerable disproportions of foreign capital distribution to cities and districts. Today, the prevailing part (84%) of foreign investments is concentrated in 5 cities (Donetsk, Makijivka, Artemivs’k, Mariupol’, Yenakijeve). To avoid this disproportion is necessary for development of cities and districts of the region.

 

Borys Adamov also pointed out that one of the effective market conditions and further transformations of the industrial region potential is the realization of the Program of the Donetsk region scientific and technical development for the period till 2020 that is worked out together with the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and is a strategical plan of the Donetsk region development. Of a great importance for the region is the Agreement about the regional development, signed by the Donetsk oblast rada and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, preparing of which developed a very important for the region startegical projects.

 

“As we see, we plan a lot of tasks for the region development, and I hope that today’s meeting will be a significant practical step towards the development and strengthening of partner relations, as Donbas is always opened for those, who want to cooperate” – concluded Borys ADAMOV.
