Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO told the Mass-Media representatives about the yesterday meeting of Coordination council devoted to preparing and caring out of Euro-2012 in Ukraine
As we have already informed, yesterday the RSA chairman Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO took part in the Coordination council meeting, devoted to preparing and caring out of Euro-2012 Football Championship final part in Ukraine, which was carried out by the President of Ukraine Viktor YUSHCHENKO.
Today, talking with journalists, Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO told about the visit to Kyiv. He pointed out that “during yesterday meeting there were concrete tasks and plans, devoted to Championship preparing, determined”.
As the region leader said, “Euro-2009, Euro-2012 in the Donetsk region are viewed as one national mega-project, as powerful unity Ukrainian idea, and that is why yesterday, during the meeting he suggested that they should include into protocol tournaments of the Donetsk region as one project”.
While creating the Agreement about the regional development of the Donetsk region, the region state administration took into consideration the actions devoted to development of automobile road network, transport infrastructure, construction, fundamental hostel repairing, culture establishments, reconstruction of sport buildings and others, according to UEFA standards. In accordance with the Regional program, general amount of financing is 32 milliards of hryvnjas, including state budget assets, and also local budgets – 1.8 milliards and assets of non-state enterprises – investors – 16.6 milliards.
VOLODYMYR LOGVYNENKO informed that “it is sufficiently responsible direction. And these programs should not be divided. We clearly understand, what should we do and in what period. Organizationally, the inner region problems are known. And it is already necessary to proceed to concrete decisions, because there are a lot of questions that should be decided and one of them is the cultural entertainment of funs, because football is only 64 hours, more than 200 hours of sleep and more than 300 hours – time that will help guests to get acquainted with traditions and cultural inheritance of the Donetsk region”.
