Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan in Ukraine Mutsuo MABUCHI
Today, the RSA chairman Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan in Ukraine Mutsuo MABUCHI.
At the beginning of the meeting the leader of the region thanked the guests for grant, according to which there will be renewal of lighting of the Donetsk Solov’yanenko state theatre of opera and ballet.
It should be reminded that according to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Decree the Agreement project among the Government of Ukraine and the Government of Japan about the cultural grant for renewal of theatre lighting is approved. According to the Agreement among the Governments of Japan and Ukraine, signed on the 1st of July 2006, the Government of Japan gave Ukraine grant help for obtaining modern theatre lighting amounting near 580 thousands USA dollars. On the 25th of January 2007, Japan gave a full amount of the modern lighting equipment, namely 162 spotlights, feeding panel, luminance regulating system and lighting penal for 120 channels.
Previous theatre lighting equipment is dismantled. New lighting equipment is already established in the theatre and an official ceremony of its conveyancing with participation of Ambassador of Japan in Ukraine Mutsuo MABUCHI, was held yesterday, on the 13th of January 2008.
After thanking, representatives of both countries had an interesting conversation. Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO and Mutsuo MABUCHI spoke about their cooperation not only in a cultural sphere, and Japanese side was attracted by the economical achievements of the region. They plan to develop the cooperation in energy saving sphere, namely the modernization of the equipment.
As Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO said, “today trade and economical relations are positive, but the amount of the foreign trade turn between the Donetsk region and Japan is only 22.5 million USA dollars, and this does satisfy neither the Japaneses, nor Donetsk citizens. The RSA chairmen assured guests that “possibilities of the region economic sector are great. The main region enterprises remain enterprises of ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy, machine-building, chemical, namely the production of mineral fertilizers”. Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO named an important direction – public health sphere, providing establishments with medical equipment.
Concluding the meeting, the leader of the region pointed out that “relationships among the Donetsk region and Japan have a large scale and we are interested in widening of our cooperation”. Mutsuo MABUCHI agreed with the region leader.
