November 29, 2011 Fitch Ratings has affirmed the Donetsk region of Ukraine: long-term ratings in foreign and local currency at the level of «B», a short-term foreign currency rating «B» and National Long-term «AA (ukr)». Forecast of long-term ratings - "Stable".






The First vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev in Donetsk introduced Andriy Shyshatskyi as the head of Donetsk regional state administration.
The President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych by his decree has appointed Anatoly Blyznyuk the Minister of Regional Development, construction and housing and communal services of Ukraine.
Donetsk region in many ways has favorable location on the map. The region is situated in European part of Eurasian continent: at the crossroads of international transport routes from West to East and from North to South.
The region of Donbass is unique. Plains meet hills, forests meet steppes, land meets sea.
